The leaves around me are starting to turn as Autumn is starting to make it’s presence felt.
Until recently I have been working on a Psychological Thriller but I needed a break from it while I figure out it’s direction. While I take this break I got started on a little paranormal story I’ve been thinking about for a while.
It goes in perfectly to this time of year as I wanted to set it at the start of Autumn. Today I sat scribbling away enjoying the last of the late summer Sun, there was a chilly bite in the air that came from a subtle breeze and I felt inspired.
My new story follows a Witch by the name of Freya who is hiding from her Coven. Freya is only young and has a lot to learn but she is incredibly gifted.
We journey with her through many ups and downs as she adjusts to a new life in a sleepy town where not everything is as it seems.
I am really enjoying writing this and doing research as I want it to be as authentic as possible to the Wiccan religion.
It’s also been really nice to work on something that isn’t as dark as my psych thriller.
Hopefully I will be able to share something with you all soon.
Thank you for reading.
