Review…
I want to start with saying how much I enjoyed this book. Let’s talk about Erica. I have to admit I wasn’t overly keen on her as a character until towards the end of the book yet she was the character I could actually relate to the most. Being a mother I can absolutely understand where she was coming from with her actions.
Molly on the otherhand I got straight away despite not having any experience of what she was going through. It was easy to understand why she was the way she was.
I liked Noah straight away, he was clearly a guy dealing with his past and living in a world of regret. I disliked Rachel and really wish she had a bit more karma thrown at her at the end after what she had done. Although despite her terrible way of going about things she ultimately made things better for everyone else but herself.
The story was really interesting. I love how it was set in the Arctic and with the huskies. It made it so different from the average book.
All in all fantastic read and I would give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Laurie has a great way of writing a story that you don’t want to put down.
