Lucy Hall’s Social Media Planner Review by Jennifer Gilmour [Guest Post]

Hello everyone. I’m delighted to be blogging here on Emma-Louise’s blog because I am also a stationery geek. I would compare myself to Monica out of friends, I love to organise everything and if someone doesn’t put things back in the correct place they will receive a talking from me.

A little about me (other than my geeky love for stationery)

My name is Jennifer Gilmour and I am a young married mum of three children; Sophie is almost 8, Riley is 6 and my youngest Robyn is 2. They like crafts like me, my eldest loves washi tape and notebooks as much as me as well. I am an author and I love to blog.

Lucy Hall’s Social Media Planner Review

Today I wanted to review a product that has saved me worrying about my marketing plan. As an author it is important to use social media and your blog the most effective way. I have never had the time to think about how to set up a marketing plan and when I came across Lucy Hall’s Social Media Planner.

As you can see from the photo’s it has these beautiful pink flamingo’s as the cover and Lucy uses this throughout her media which helps for her brand recognition. The Planner is a 2018 Social Media Content Planning Diary and I have used it for January and already receiving results.

One of my favourite aspects is how the planner give’s you noteable days, tips for each month, challenges you to give your own objectives and your own important message for each month. Noteable days include days like; National Popcorn Day, Clean Off Your Desk Day, Compliment Day and so on.

At the end of each month you have the chance to recognise your achievements and I believe it is important to celebrate success even if it is the small steps to the big goals.

The layout of the planner is simple but yet effective, it has a classy feel to it. The colours are simple and the flamingo appears on some pages as a background throughout.

As well as the planner Lucy has a Facebook group for those who purchase the planner and it gives you a chance to ask questions, see updates from other members, network, receive training and theres competitions and giveaways which is always a winner for me.

I would highly recommend the planner to anyone who is looking to get organised with their social media, whether they are a blogger, have a business, are an author or are helping clients with marketing. At a price of £17 you have nothing to loose. I am looking forward to my marketing achievements this year.

  1. That’s cool – would never hve thought about planning social media use in this way. I would just crash through the platforms without thinking of timings or affects!!
