My Everyday Planner {Set-up and Overview}

Hey everyone, today I’m sharing with you the set-up for my everyday carry planner and what I use it for.

I’ve been in this beautiful Cinnamon Stick B6 Nayadori from Nayapaperie since it arrived in October. I love it just as much now as I did when it arrived and what’s even better is that it is working perfectly for me.

I have however, changed my main planning insert. I was previously using the bullet journal style inserts from The Punk Planner I had used them for months but found that I wasn’t utilising the tracker part of the insert. I then received an insert as part of my PR package from Queen Mabel and Doris which is working really well. I’m able to dress it up or down as I wish and it has a lot of space.

I’m not a huge decorator but I do like to add bits for colour and function. I do like little headers to split up sections I need.

I always have one my page a weekly to-do sections, notes, next week and blog schedule. Some weeks I may add a meal plan some I won’t.

The next insert I have is a standard month-on-two-page insert from The Punk Planner. This allows me to do any future planning, jot down reviews due, essays, studies, appointments. Pretty much anything. As I only prepare a week or two in advance in my weekly I use this to future plan everything else, along with sticky notes.

After this I have what is called my collections insert. This is a simple lined and decorated printable insert from Annie Plans Printables. I use this to track my weight loss, write my book TBR, favourite quotes and anything else that I want to keep track of that doesn’t require a a weekly tracker. I also have all my up-to-date medical info here for emergencies.

After this I have three more inserts. I have a To-Do list insert and Book Review insert both from The Punk Planner and another one of the Annie Plans decorated inserts for any notes and scribbles.

I also still have the Harry Potter cardwallet to store random letters and stickers I need to keep with me.

Throughout the planner I have changed my overall decor from the autumn/winter theme to a beautiful vintage celestial theme.

I use my planner for everything and it has to be practical more than pretty but I’m really happy with the balance I have found between the two.

I have recently set up one of my old ring planners purely for medical info as I’m less precious about it being in the hands of medical staff when I get taken to A&E which happens more regularly than I’d like.

Thanks for reading and I’d love to know what you use your planner for so feel free to drop me a comment below.
