When Life Gives You Lemons…

Hey everyone. You may or may not have noticed my absence recently. Truth is I have been extremely unwell. In the last 6 weeks I have spent just over 4 in hospital having various operations and I am currently 10 days post op from a very major complex surgery.

As such my blog and life have been neglected and I’m just beginning to pick everything back up.

I’ve been re-evaluating things during this period, there is nothing like a quick glance at possible death to make you filter what’s important to you deep down and what isn’t and I’ve realised a few things.

I love my blog and it’s one thing I really want to continue writing, however, I will be adding the occasional ‘this is my life post’ rather than posts purely about books/writing/stationery. I hope you don’t mind, and those who do feel free to bypass.

It’s been a dark few weeks but things are looking brighter and I intend to share that with you. I’m chosing to make a Lemon Cheesecake with the lemons life has given me lately.
