Spring Bucket List 2019

Spring Bucket List 2019.png

Hey Everyone,

Spring has finally sprung and I feel excited by it. I am invigorated and looking forward to enjoying the lighter days, the sun shining, birds singing and plants growing. This is our first Spring in our new house and we live in such a beautiful area. Set in the countryside I am 15 minutes from the beautiful ruins of the Priory and 15 minutes in the opposite direction to the beach. I couldn’t ask for anything more. I decided that this year I would set bucket lists for each of the seasons and really try to make the most it has to offer.

This is my 2019 Spring Bucket List:

  • Visit Gisborough Priory <English Heritage>
  • Visit Saltburn Beach <The Beach Guide>
  • Visit Saltburn Valley Gardens <Discover Yorkshire>
  • Go On A Nature Walk – Explore Our Surroundings
  • Plant Seeds
  • Tidy and Paint the Back Yard
  • Paint Pebbles
  • Host A Tea Party
  • Buy some Fresh Flowers
  • Stargaze
  • Enjoy The Lyrids Meteor Shower < Earth Sky>
  • Enjoy Reading Outside
  • Make Some Hayfever Tincture and Home Remedies
  • Have A Picnic
  • Decorate Eggs
  • Spring Clean

I am really looking forward to spending time with my family enjoying that fresh sunshine. Last year I was stuck in a warm and humid hospital so this year I am going to spend more time outside.

Do you have a bucket list for Spring? If so please let me know below what your plans are.

Thnks for reading.

  1. No plans really limited to the spring, mostly because I never know when spring ends and summer begins lol. Reading outside does sound nice though :3 Hopefully, we can get our porch built this year. Glad you’re enjoying your new home

      1. We had an apartment like that several years back. What we did was get an elongated flower box (we constructed one out of a Rubbermaid container) and then planted vines in the box to scale up the fence (you could use a lattice in place of the fence). At the base of the lattice in the box, you can also plant some hardy flowers for a splash of color. It goes a long way towards making it feel bigger because you’re not actually taking up much room since lattices are thin and vertical as opposed to other potted plants that will use ground space without much height to them ❤

  2. I always mean to do a seasonal bucket list, but I never get round to it. Now the nicer weather is (supposedly) here I do want to spend more time outdoors though and try and get back to going for litle walks as much as possible. I want to make some Easter themed bunting for my sewing room too. Possibly not something that will happen this spring, but I have just added a trip to the Alnwick Poison Garden to my research trip bucket list.

Your list sounds so much fun, you are going to have a great spring! Mx

  4. This is a great idea. I personally don’t have any specific spring related plans but I’m kind of thinking I should… I definitely ought to start doing some proper Spring Cleaning, that’s for sure. Might have to have a think about other spring plans I could come up with!
