Review
First of all I would like to say a massive thank you to Anne from Random Things Blog Tours and Barnaby Allen for giving me and my daughter an opportunity to read this book.
When we received this book we were both very excited. Alexis always loves it when we get to read and review books together, at 5 years old she can now read a lot of it herself.
This book was special though and different to others. The included activity pages really got you thinking about the story and were a great addition to the book. They allowed us to stop for breaks and take our time.
Many word books can be overwhelming for the smaller children but we found that with this book that wasn’t the case.
We both enjoyed the story and really felt like it had all the good things you want from a book such as fun, adventure and magic.
We would highly recommend this book to others.
Author Bio
Barnaby Allen was born in Suva Fiji, as his father was working there for the British Crown. He was introduced to literature by his mother, who liked to recite poetry and had a gift of telling engaging stories. As an adult Barnaby Allen worked in education in several countries mostly teaching English. He loved travel, classical music, discussions, current affairs, Pacific affairs, family, good food and board games. Barnaby’s children also had the benefit of Barnaby telling stories to them and making the characters come alive with acting out different roles.
Thanks for reading.
Thanks so much for the blog tour support x
