Wow. This book was fantastic! From the moment I started reading I was sucked in. The story is about obsession and I certainly felt that in the pages. Rachel has a marvellous way with words that makes you want to keep going. The need to find out about Louisa becomes your obsession.
The characters all leave you feeling that you know them, their type. They are written with complex personalities and it makes you want to know more about them.
Temple House is a place in which you can envisage, you know places like this exist. They hold mystery and suspense but pull you in with a need to explore.
As the story draws to a close you feel almost desperate to know what has happened, you feel it from the journalists perspective. Why are the nuns and previous students so secretive? It is like an itch you have to keep scratching.
This book is one I feel will stand the test of time. I highly recommend it.
