Hello and Welcome to my website.
My name is Emma-Louise. I am a mother to 3 beautiful children and have a passion for all things stationery, book, and writing related. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and kidney failure in June 2018 and this inspired me to really focus on my writing and put myself out there.
I’ve always loved books and stationery but it’s only over the last 6 or so years that I have found myself really getting involved with the blogging side. I am a freelance writer and I also featured articles in The Creative Planner Magazine, which was a free online publication and website.
I studied Sociological Criminology and Law at University, and then went on to study Fantasy and Creative Writing. I am a keen learner so I often take part in courses that I feel will enhance my skills in the writing field.
I am a previous member of the Romantic Novelists Association under their New Writers Scheme which gave me a fantastic opportunity to have 6 months of mentorship with Simon and Schuster.

I love books, they hold so much magic and create escapism we all enjoy and more often than not, need.
I am a reviewer for various blog tour companies, publishers, and authors. I am open to reading almost any genre but I do tend to stay away from historical, western, and autobiographical. I adore bookish merchandise so you will also see my posts frequently about everything I buy and receive along with reviews on the items.

Write
This website was created for me to share my writing with others. Whether that is in the form of short stories, flash fiction, resources, or snippets of my current work-in-progress.
Not only will I share my writing, but I will also be sharing reviews for books in the craft, courses I undertake, and anything else that relates to my writing life. I am hoping to build a place for people to find resources as well as be part of a community of like-minded individuals.
I primarily write Fantasy (including supernatural and paranormal), Thriller, and YA Horror. I have a short story being released as part of an anthology in December 2021 which is raising funds for the Help the Heroes cause.
