NaNoWriMo 2019

Wow guys, it’s that time again already. It feels like only yesterday that I was preparing for NaNoWriMo 2018.

Last year I started Alaria and worked on some Flash Fiction for my anthology and it was the first year I ‘won’ it and achieved the 50k.

This year I will be continuing with Alaria and it will be my only project. If I can get the 50k then it will give me a finished first draft (yay).

Usually October is a month full of prep to get my ideas clear ready to just write in November but because Alaria is already well underway I haven’t really needed to do much. I re-wrote my outline to match the unpredictable story changes the characters had taken me on and I spent some time in Cornwall and visited the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic to feed the imagination and get some inspiration.
